Herbaceous plant with stout upright stems, trifoliate serrated leaves. Flowers pale lavender or light blue, tubular 20-30mm long in terminal panicles, tepals x4 with reflexed tips. Slightly scented. Cut flower! Attractive seed heads. (xC) Also known as Cl. heracleifolia ssp. stans.
